This Accession of six items concerns Henry's interest in the Yazoo Company of Virginia and North Carolina, a company which was associated with similar land speculation companies in Virginia, North Carolina, and Georgia. One letter concerns the sale of 150 slaves sent from Virginia to Georgia; also, the sale of land as well as names of people interested in business ventures.

The Virginia Yazoo Company was one of three companies established in 1789 to purchase land from the state of Georgia at a very low price.
